International Day Against Homophobia Transphobia and Biphobia

17 May is The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT). The day was marked the first time in 2004. The purpose of the day is to draw attention to the violence, discrimination and suppression experienced by LGBT people. Globally, Denmark works for the LGBTI-agenda at various levels: through UN and EU; through civil society organizations; through political dialogue with governments.  The Danish LGBTI National Action plan 2018-2021 reaffirms Denmark's commitment to equal rights for all - no matter sexual orientation or gender identity.
